Resolution
When running the SQL 2008 configuration wizard, an error is received:
This error may be received if the mount points that have been configured for the service group are on the system drive. By design, all VCS wizards, as a best practice, enforce folder mounts to be on clustered volumes.
A workaround to this issue would be to create the SQL service group manually. Please note, however, that this service group cannot be modified with the SQL configuration wizard after its creation and will have to be modified manually.
