MountV agent log : ERROR V-16-10051-9026

Cause

The VCS agent detects corruption in the file system at the specified drive letter or mount path.

Resolution

If you want the agent to clean the file system, then set the AutoFileSystem clean attribute on the affected MountV resource to 'true'. This attribute defines whether the agent automatically cleans the file system by running Chkdsk /X on the volume being brought online.  
 
Steps:
1. Set AutoFSClean to 1.  
2. Try to online the MountV resource again.
 
****Warning::::  ChkDsk should not be run on a database volume for Exchange or SQL applications without first consulting with your Administrator or Microsoft. This is because repairs usually change a disk's file allocation table and sometimes cause a loss of data.
 
 
 
 
 

 

Issue/Introduction

The MountV resource fails to go online in Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) even though importing the Diskgroup and mounting the volume with a drive letter manually through Veritas Enterprise Administrator (VEA) is still possible and does not report the file system as dirty.
