When starting the VEA GUI on the windows 7. It fails with the following error message
The program cannot start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer.
Try to reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
Resolution
1. Copy the msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll files from C:\ProgramFiles\Veritas\Security\Authentication\bin directory to %system32%.
2. Restart Veritas Enterprise Administrator Service (VEA)
3. Launch VEA GUI and attempt login.
