Cause
This is due to a bug in Plink.exe as detailed in this article: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/wishlist/win-plink-stdin-handle-invalid.html
Resolution
Plink.exe version 0.58 or PuTTy installed through the PuTTy 0.58 installer must be used.
Issue/Introduction
Some Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) agents for hardware replication technologies require the use of SSH clients to perform commands at the array level. Examples of this type of agent are the VCS agent for IBM SVCCopyServices and the VCS agent for EMC RecoverPoint.
If plink.exe versions later than 0.58 are used then the SSH communication will fail. This causes the agent to not function correctly.
