Description

Error Message

Oracle CSSD failure 134.
Oracle CRS failure.Rebooting for cluster integrity.

Cause

The "Oracle CSSD failure 134" message indicates that the Oracle RAC software's fencing layer lost communication with other nodes in the cluster, and as a result, the Oracle CRS module initiated a node reboot to prevent data corruption.

Resolution

If the "Oracle CSSD failure 134" error condition is occurring in circumstances where that behavior would not be expected (such as only disabling one out of two or more LLT interconnects) then this would indicate that the Oracle fencing CRS software is misconfigured and not using or is unable to detect all cluster interconnects.

The software associated with this condition is the Oracle CRS fencing software.  Review the Oracle CRS configuration and engage appropriate third-party support for further support and investigation if necessary.
