1. Set the dmp_cache_open tunable to 'on' using the 'vxdmpadm settune' command

2. The pftostate attribute should be set to 'on' (which is its default value).

    This attribute can be set at the diskgroup level or at the disk level using the following commands:

    # vxdisk -g set pftostate = enabled

        or

    # vxpfto -g -o pftostate =  enabled

Please note that if setting this value on the diskgroup, any new disks added to this diskgroup will not necessarily inherit this value, so it will be necessary to check this value at the disk level.
