In the Windows vxvm log

vxvm-OpLog:  -- FINISH DGOP_DEPORT(2001) on Disk Group {Disk Group GUID}
vxvm-OpLog:  -- Error(19) : Unknown

Cause

Error 19 means that SFW was unable to exclusively lock, flush and dismount the volume(s) in the DiskGroup before deporting the DiskGroup.

This error is seen when an application or process has an open handle or lock on the volume. This is commonly seen if storage monitoring or antivirus is configured to monitor the volumes.

In a clustered environment, applications and volumes should already be offline and the message is generally benign.

Resolution

Handle.exe or Process Monitor can be used to determine what process or application has a lock or open handle on the volume(s) to determine if there is any possible application data is being accessed..
