VxVM vxconfigd ERROR V-5-1-2031 Cannot kill existing daemon, pid=50:Daemon not responding
The above error means that the OS is not able to kill vxconfigd,
As the OS is not able to kill the daemon, the only solution for this is to do a reconfiguration reboot.
# touch /reconfigure
# shutdown -g0 -y -i6
Issue/Introduction
Veritas commands hang, and the vxconfigd daemon cannot be killed with vxconfigd -k, or manually by PID.
