Cause

 

The SPs of the same EMC Clariion are inconsitent in configuartion for A/PF and A/P modes.

The same enclosure is being seen by VXVM as both A/PF (Active/Passive Explicit Failover) and A/P (Active Passive) modes.

Resolution

Please correct the inconsistent A/PF & A/P modes on all SPs for the subject EMC Clariion array. Please reboot the system after making a consistent mode, either A/PF or A/P on all SPs of the disk-enclosure.
