ERROR V-81-7700 Can not connect to the vxdbd daemon
Cause
In 5.1 SP1, vxdbd now links to the library included in VRTSat package which isn't installed by default.
Resolution
Workaround is to manually install the VRTSat package. On Linux it is recommended that both the VRTSatClient and VRTSatServer packages are installed.
VRTSat package(s) will be automatically installed in the next full release which will address the issue.
Issue/Introduction
SFORA tools have problems after installing 5.1 SP1 :
When trying to use
# dbed_codm_adm
you get the following:
SFORA exec_remote ERROR V-81-7700 Can not connect to the vxdbd. It might be down. Check the status and restart it if it is not up. and the following when checking the status of the vxdb
# vxdbdctrl status gets /opt/VRTSdbed/common/bin/vxdbd ping FAILED
