CPI WARNING V-9-2-1027 No POBJ defined for VRTSvlic
CPI ERROR V-9-1-1062 Cannot determine file location of VRTSvlic on Linux. Please confirm that the
VRTSvlic package is present in the pkgs/ or rpms/ dir. If it is not present, please bring this to the
attention of the owner of the missing package.
The issue is the result of an attempt to run "installvcs" command or similar from the /opt/VRTS/install directory without additional parameters.
When an installation script (installvm, installfs, installsf, installsfcfs, installvcs) is executed from /opt/VRTS/install directory without additional parameters such as "-configure" the script attempts to perform an initial install action.
This initial installation action determines what packages are available to install on the system.
As the base directory (opt/VRTS/install) will not have rpm, pkg, or patch subdirectories, no patches or packages are available to install and the error is displayed.
If the intended action is an initial installation, run installation scripts from a media or location that contains product packages and /or patch subdirectories.
If product configuration is desired, run installation scripts with the "-configure" parameter.
Other parameters may be available.
Consult the product specific installation and configuration guide to determine the available parameters for the relevant installation script command.
