Resolution
It transpired that within the shared diskgroup, another volume had been created and mounted from within one of the shared diskgroups. Because of this, it was not possible to deport the associated CVM diskgroup. Once the filesystem concerned had been unmounted, another attempt at running the vxclustadm command succeeded
Issue/Introduction
During testing,"vxclustadm stopnode" was run in order to manually offline Cluster Volume Manager (CVM). This immediately failed with the "waiting for applications to end" message.
