Cause

Due to a program bug, /sbin/vxfenconfig -o modify -s failed with the following usage error.

Resolution

An etrack incident 2562756 is created to fix the issue.  This problem only affects 5.0 and related maintenance patch (MP) releases.   This issue is already fixed in 5.1 or above.


Applies To

vxfenswap command fails when there is only one disk in coordinate disk group.   Problem only affects 5.0 and 5.0MP releases.  The problem is already fixed in 5.1 and subsequent releases.

Issue/Introduction

vxfenswap command is the command to replace/swap coordinate disk in corrdinate dg dynamically. However this command will fail if there is only one disk in the coordinate dg.
