Oracle not Installed

There are multiple possible causes for the wizard to fail detection of Oracle:

• The prerequisite steps as listed in the Veritas™ Cluster Server Database Agent for Oracle Configuration Guide were not followed
• The listener service is not started.
• Oracle services are not started, Oracle is not running.
• The registry key ORACLE_HOME_NAME  string does not exist under the subkey of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE

Confirm all the steps were followed as per the Veritas™ Cluster Server Database Agent for Oracle Configuration Guide.

If all the steps were followed and the wizard still fails,check for the existence of ORACLE_HOME_NAME,  please contact Oracle for more information on how to check this value.
