Description

Error Message

No error was seen.

Resolution

The issue related to types.cf. The types.cf file had to be copied from /etc/VRTSvcs/conf to /etc/VRTSvcs/conf/config.

This was determined by switching on DBG_1 logging and checking the IP agent log. After probing the IP resource once again, the following message was reported:

2011/11/09 10:32:38 VCS DBG_1 V-16-50-0 IP:test-IP:monitor:Attribute ContainerName not found in the argument list.

VCSAgHelper.h:vcsag_print_error[302]

Once the latest copy of types.cf was copied into /etc/VRTSvcs/conf/config, VCS was restarted and the IP resource probed.
