Cause
Where the filesystem is mounted as a nested mountpoint, it is possible that after cleanup of the filesystem, "df -k" command may report the incorrect amount of free space.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, unmount the nested filesystem and the parent filesystems.
Upon remount of the parent and subsequent nested mounts, the "df -k" output will show the expected filesystem usage detail.
