You need to format the disk in drive before you can use it.

Cause

SFW assigns the drive letter or mount path and then formats the volume asynchronously.  Windows recognizes the volume as unformatted which causes the prompt.

The issue is resolved in the latest Cumulative Patch for SFW 5.1 SP2:
