Cause

Misconfiguration of Symantec Private Branch Exchange Service.

This may be cause by a incorrect SFW installation.

Resolution

  1. In command line, goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Veritas\VxPBX\bin
  2. run pbxcfg -p
  3. Make sure it has the following entries
    • Auth User:0 :
      Secure Mode:
      Port Number:
  4. Restart services

to add auth user :            pbxcfg -a -u (Auth user)
to set port number :         pbxcfg -s -n (port no)
to enable secure mode:       pbxcfg -e -m
to disable secure mode       pbxcfg -d -m
