Cause
Misconfiguration of Symantec Private Branch Exchange Service.
This may be cause by a incorrect SFW installation.
Resolution
- In command line, goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Veritas\VxPBX\bin
- run pbxcfg -p
- Make sure it has the following entries
- Auth User:0 :
Secure Mode:
Port Number:
- Restart services
to add auth user : pbxcfg -a -u (Auth user)
to set port number : pbxcfg -s -n (port no)
to enable secure mode: pbxcfg -e -m
to disable secure mode pbxcfg -d -m

Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition
Issue/Introduction
Veritas Enterprise Administrator, Veritas Storage Agent, Veritas Action Agent, and Veritas Gridnode services all hang on starting state.
