Description

Vxtool is a support tool intended for the use of Veritas Support personnel for resolving issues related to disk management with Storage Foundation for Windows and High Availability solutions.

If you have been requested to download this tool by a Veritas Support representative; please follow their advice and the guidelines below when choosing the correct download:

• Vxtool.zip works with Disk Groups created with all versions of SFW but will only work on x64 Windows operating systems.  It is recommended to use this download for SFW 6.0 and later.
• Vxtool_5.zip is suitable for both x86 and x64 Windows operating systems but does not work with Disk Groups created using Storage Foundation for Windows 6.1 or later.

Warnings:

Vxtool is intended to be used by Veritas Support and Engineering only for advanced troubleshooting and as such the zip attachments are password protected to restrict usage.

Incorrect use of vxtool can lead to uncorrectable data damage.
