Cause
lpfc logging has been enabled, which reports many conditions, including some which may be expected under certain circumstances. This is not a failure, but indicates a SCSI Inquiry command returned less data than the maximum allowed. A valid SCSI Inquiry response varies in length, has a minimum length of 36 bytes, and is specific to the target device.

Solution
These are benign messages returned from lower level OS/HW drivers and can be ignored.
