Unable to mount Veritas mounting points

Cause
vxfs packages have been corrupted and moduels cannot be loaded
Resolution
checked vxfs patches
root /> rpm -V VRTSvxfs-platform
missing /etc/vx/kernel/vxfs.ko.2.6.18-8.el5
prelink: /sbin/fsck.vxfs: at least one of file's dependencies has changed since prelinking

Suggested to reinstall vxfs packages as its broken.
Reinstalling vxfs packages resolved the issue.

when doing modprobe vxportal gets error
FATAL: Error inserting vxportal (/lib/modules/2.6.18-308.4.1.el5/veritas/vxfs/vxportal.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
