Description: The Veritas Enterprise Administrator Service service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 1 time(s).  The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

Cause

During provider loading, when the mount provider loads, the VxSvc service suffers heap corruption. The VxSvc log will show the service terminates shortly after mount provider load starts.

Resolution

 
The VxSvc service crashs when there is no pagefile configured because an empty string variable was passed to free function. This issue has been identified and a hotfix to overcome this issue with a new mount provider "mount.dll" which is included in SFW and SFW-HA 6.0 Cumulative Patch 2 (CP2) and later. The Cumulative Patches (CPs) available on SORT via Patch Finder.
