No error; this is a process behavior. It would likely be observed in process monitoring tools like prstat or top. The uptime command would likely show that the server is running "hot" (load average).
Code defect. The xprtld process will go into a loop under certain conditions when the Central Server (CS) is not available and the MH is attempting to report discovery results.
This issue was originally identified in a multiple CS configuration but has also been seen in a single CS configuration.
This issue has been identified and affects supported platforms of VOM 5.0 Managed Hosts.

INSTALLING THE PATCH
---------------------------------
1) at the Central Server (CS), download the patch from the SORT website at:
https://sort.Veritas.com/patch/detail/7559
2) launch a browser and login to the VOM management server (Central Server; CS).
3) navigate to Settings - Deployment Management tab.
4) use the Actions menu to upload the hotfix to the VOM CS. The HF050001960-27 should be visible in the table.
5) select the HF and use the Actions menu to install deploy it (suggestion: select Platform and check all)
