6.0.300.200 (603 PubHF2) is a cross platform VxVM Public Hotfix. The exact version for HPUX and SLES 11 is different and the Version String listing is shown above.

This cross platform release has a dependency on the latest VRTSaslapm package. Exact versions of the VRTSaslapm package is given below:

AIX  - 6.0.100.202
HP-UX  - 6.0.100.202
Linux - 6.0.400.001
Solaris - 6.0.100.202

The patch README within the patch release is documented with this requirement.

For example, README in Solaris is documented with below:

REQUIRED PATCHES             : VRTSvxvm 6.0.300.0 (148490-01),VRTSaslapm 6.0.100.202

This issue is seen if the VRTSaslapm package is not updated with the above mentioned version.
 

Install the VRTSaslapm package corresponding to the OS platform.
