One of rpool named as 'rpool-old':

# zpool list | grep -w rpool

And it causing below verification routine for number of existing zpool was failed:

# zpool list | grep -c -w rpool
2  <<<<   expecting '1'

So, this issue could happened for any zpool has similar name.

The issue can be fixed by export zpool has similar name before turn off dmp_native_support or upgrade start.

#zpool export rpool-old
#vxdmpadm settune dmp_native_support=off
