Error Message

V-16-10-97 Could not connect to the server using default credentials

1. VCS Authentication Service is in stopped state
2. Secure Cluster option has been reconfigured and the cache store is no longer in sync.
3. You are using the VCS Java GUI version 7.0.

Solution 1:
Start VCS Authentication Service and set Startup Type to Automatic

Solution 2:
1. Close Java Console if open
2. Delete *.0 in C:\ProgramData\Veritas\Security\Authentication\VRTSat_lhc
3. Run “hasys -state" command
4. Open Java Console and login to the server

Solution 3:
Uninstall VCS Java GUI version 7.0 then install the latest VCS Java GUI version from https://downloads.infoscale.com/ 

An error is displayed when attempting to login to Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) Java Console after reconfiguring Secure Cluster mode.
