Error Message
There are no error messages reported but the views between VOM and VCS are inconsistent.
Cause
The samename_vcsobj.dat file is corrupt or contains incorrect details about the cluster.
Resolution
Perform the following steps on the managed host
For Windows:
1. Delete C:/ProgramData/veritas/VRTSsfmh/VCS/samename_vcsobj.dat
2. Run the command below to rescan host
# cd "C:\Program Files\Veritas\VRTSsfmh\bin"
# perl mh_ctl.pl --rescan
For Unix:
# rm /var/opt/VRTSsfmh/VCS/samename_vcsobj.dat
# cd /opt/VRTSsfmh/bin
# ./mh_ctl.pl --rescan

Veritas Operations Manager (VOM) shows incomplete cluster view or incorrect group status. Some service groups/resources may be missing or deleted groups/resources may still be visible. Group may show as faulted in VOM, but is healthy in local cluster view.
