When troubleshooting VCS cluster various components may be brought down in order to diagnose issues at lower levels. Often when troubleshooting LLT problems the LLT layer will be the only layer brought up.
If gabconfig has not been run to load the GAB layer, the lltstat command will show other node connects as being down and in an IDLE state.
GAB must be started to verify LLT connectivity.
