Cause
Lanman performs updates for the A(host) and PTR zones in DNS during online and DNS refresh. The resource will fault when Lanman attributes DNSUpdateRequired and DNSCriticalForOnline are set to True (1) if the Lanman resource is unable to update or refresh either of these DNS records. The above errors occur when the Lanman resource is unable to create or refresh the record in the PTR zone.
Resolution
DNSOptions "SkipPtrRecords" to instruct the agent to skip updates to PTR zone.
