V-106-58644-67 "One of the objects required for this operation no longer exists in the configuration" is reported on the Primary node while attempting certain operations

Error Message

SCENARIO 1: Unable to delete the RDS (Replicated Data Set), or the PrimaryRVG resource, or dissociate the SRL (Storage Replicator Log) from the VEA (Veritas Enterprise Administrator) GUI:
Failed to perform the operation.
Error V-106-58644-67: One of the objects required for this operation no longer exists in the configuration.
 
SCENARIO 2:Unable to delete RDS or RVG (Replicated Volume Group) from the CLI (Command Line Interpreter):
C:\>vxrds [-g ] [-f] delrds
Failed to perform the operation.
Error V-107-58644-917: Cannot identify the correct RDS.
 
C:\>vxrds [-g ] [-f] delpri
Failed to perform the operation.
Error V-107-25876-1219: One or more secondaries are associated with the primary RVG.
 
SCENARIO 3:Unable to remove Rlinks from the CLI.
C:\>vxrlink [-g ] [-f] rm
Failed to perform the operation.
Error V-107-58644-1164: Could not dissociate the RLINK from RVG.

Cause

These errors appear because the VVR object states, in VEA, is not up-to-date with respect to what is present in the vxconfig configuration.
 

Resolution

1) Restart the Veritas Enterprise Administrator service on the secondary servers using the steps mentioned at How to restart Veritas Enterprise Administrator Service for Veritas InfoScale products 
 
2) Now retry the operation that failed previously and it should now be able to complete. 


Issue/Introduction

When attempting several operations for VVR (Veritas Volume Replicator) component of Infoscale Storage for Windows like, delete Replicated Data Set (RDS), Dissassociate/Associate SRL or Resume Replication fails these operations may fail with different errors for each scenario.
