There is a directory /var/VRTSgab/log on one of my cluster nodes, but not all. What is the purpose of this directory?

This directory is generated by the getcomms script.
Syntax:
#/opt/VRTSgab/getcomms -local
getcomms:Gathering data for walv215-a1j
lltshow64: trace buffer not configured
getcomms: completed. results in/tmp/commslog.Mar_31_12_28_15.tar
This will create the /var/VRTSgab/log directory
Syntax:
#/opt/VRTSgab/getcomms -local
