Error Message

The following error will be reported in the engine_A.log located at %VCS_HOME%/logs, every time the HAD makes an attempt to start.

VCS WARNING V-16-1-10067 local node leaving cluster before joining as engine versions differ. Local engine version: 0xxxxxxx; Current cluster version: 0xxxxxxx

As the cluster is in the midst of an upgrade, the HAD engine of the upgraded node is of  the higher version than the nodes pending for upgrade.

VCS detects this engine mismatch and prevents HAD startup to avoid configuration issues.

1) Stop HAD on the upgrade node using "hastop -local -force" 

2) Complete the upgrade on all nodes of the cluster

3) Now start HAD on all nodes, if not started already using the command "hastart -all"
