Note: The following command will generate an up-to-date log:

  • cluster/log/gen


Cause:
These messages will be logged if the Veritas Volume Manager Disk Group has been imported as a Secondary Disk Group and not as a Cluster DiskGroup

Solution:
Using the Veritas Enterprise Administrator GUI, view the type of the Disk Group.  If it is listed as Dynamic (Secondary), then deport the Disk Group and then import it as a Cluster DiskGroup.
