When a plex belonging to a mirror volume is in "ENABLED STALE" state, there is a strong possibility that it is currently syncing with the other plex.
This can be determined by using the "vxtask" command.
The "vxtask" command performs basic administrative operations on VERITAS Volume Manager(VxVM) tasks that are running on the system. Operations include listing tasks (subject to filtering), modifying the state of a task (aborting, pausing, resuming), and modifying the rate of progress of a task
# vxtask list
or
# vxtask-l list
Check if any VxVM processes are currently running and let them finish. Once completed the plex/volume state should be checked and verified to be in "ENABLED ACTIVE" state.
