If a STALE_ADMIN_WAIT state is entered into, the VCSmain.cf configuration file should be checked for syntax errors. The hacf utility within VCS should be run to help determine where the syntax error might be. VCS uses /var/ for its working storage. If the /var filesystem is 100% full, a similar message to below may be seen:
VCS WARNING V-16-1-12216 Insufficient space in /var/VRTSvcs/log/tmp/ for temporary files
VCS WARNINGV-16-1-12095 Aborting hacf: errors encountered
Ensure that space is freed up within /var and rerun the hacf utility.
