Description
Error Message
Error (53) Failed to copy the llttab.txt file. Unable to configure the cluster.
Resolution
1. Open regedit (start > run > regedit)
2. Browse to the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Veritas\VCS
3. Create a new key named 'Config' if one does not exist
4. Create a new REG_DWORD value named 'EnableNonADSupport' and set to 1 (as shown in Figure 1)
Figure 1

5. Run the VCW again and it should now allow the configuration of a new cluster.
Note: If the cluster is used for Fileshares, the "Fileshare permissions" attribute for the FileShare resource will appear functional in the GUI, but no combination of entries in this attribute has any effect. The workaround for this is to create the FileShare resource, bring it online, then use the standard Windows Share and/or NTFS permissions to set the proper access to the share.
Issue/Introduction
If a server installed with SFW-HA belongs to a Workgroup, attempts to create a cluster using the Veritas Cluster Configuration Wizard (VCW) will fail as it requires domain membership by default. To allow the VCW to proceed on servers belonging to a Workgroup, follow the steps outlined below.
