Veritas Storage Foundation Startup did not complete successfully: vxesd failed to start on servername:
Execute '/usr/sbin/shutdown -y -i6 -g0' to properly restart your systems:
( the server shutdown does not automatically startup vxesd.)
Cause
Beginning in Storage Foundation 5.1 SP1, the default value for "dmp_monitor_osevent" is "off." Due to this change, vxesd does not start during the system boot process.
Resolution
Delete /etc/vx/dmppolicy.info.
Alternatively, vxdmpadm settune can be used to change the value of "dmp_monitor_osevent" to "on."

Issue/Introduction
The Storage Foundation 5.1 SP1 installation script fails to start vxesd. Attempting to manually start vxesd is successful.
