VxVM vxesd ERROR V-5-1-8404 DMP module not present
Cause
The Volume Manager (VxVM) portion of Storage Foundation 5.1SP1RP2 does not support RHEL 6.1 due to a kABI issue with RHEL 6.1.
Resolution
Updated VxVM drivers are included in 5.1SP1PR2P1.
To successfully implement RHEL6.1 and Storage Foundation, after installation of 5.1SP1PR2, apply the P1 patch to the installation which is available here:
