Cause

Storage Foundation (SF) on Solaris sparc and X64 is supported with MPXIO on Sun Storage hardware only. Storage Foundation does not support MPXIO on non-Sun storage arrays. MPXIO is not supported with IO Fencing.

Resolution

Disable MPXIO when using IO Fencing.

Issue/Introduction

Getting SCSI WARNING messages in syslog (/var/adm/messages) when failing over disk group with IO fencing enabled. These WARNING messages, do not affect the successful import of the disk group.
