Cause
A VOM upgrade was performed on the host and failed, resulting in unusual behavior.
Resolution
Status of the host upgrade can be found in the VOM GUI by navigating to Settings > Deployment Management, or on the host in the upgrade_mh.log file.
Default Windows location of the upgrade_mh.log file:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\VRTSsfmh\logs\upgrade_mh.log
Once the upgrade process has been finished successfully, retry attaching the VOM host to the server.
Issue/Introduction
Unable to add a host to VOM (Veritas Operation Manager). Network connectivity to the host is open and VOM is running.
