CPI ERROR V-9-0-0 WRONG config! NIC with MAC address e6:1f:13:xx:xx:xx has name usb0, but config file says

Cause

Defect in VCS  CPI  Installer script. Also, VCS does not support USB NIC at this time but CPI installer would abort when USB NIC is plugged in.

Resolution

Customer is not using USB NIC and not requesting for support of USB NIC with VCS so workaround is to unplug the USB NIC before running CPI installer. For a permanent solution, please install CPI hot-fix which can be downloaded from: https://sort.Veritas.com/patch/detail/5912
