Error Message

2012/01/19 17:35:48 VCS ERROR V-16-2-13609 Agent(EnterpriseVaultFSA) exiting because it could not find a valid agent directory

This error appears under these conditions:

1. The \EnterpriseVaultFSA folder is not located in the %VCS_HOME%\bin directory on this node.

2. The %VCS_HOME% is not set in the PATH statement of the Windows environment variables.

1. Copy the \EnterpriseVaultFSA from a functioning node, or reinstall the Enterprise Vault agent for VCS

2. Add the %VCS_HOME% directory to the Windows path statement. Typically, this path is C:\Program Files\Veritas\cluster server\bin but the location may vary depending on the platform and configuration.
