Cause
Since the LUNs have thin reclamation enabled, the 'vxevac' command (which triggers 'vxassist' command as well) requires the relevant filesystem on the corresponding volume to be mounted.
Resolution
After mounting the relevant filesystem, the 'vxevac -g dg source_dm target_dm' command completed susccessfully without any errors.
Applies To
As per 'vxdisk list' command, the LUNs have thin reclamation enabled.
Issue/Introduction
Although the target DM has same space as the source DM, the vxevac command fails with the following errors:
