Cause
When Disk Groups are created a Disk Group version is set to the Disk Group properties. Disk Group versions are not downwards compatible.
A Disk Group created in SFW 6.0 will have a Disk Group version 60, it will only be able to import this Disk Group in version 6.0 of SFW.
A Disk Group created in SFW 5.1 will have a Disk Group version 50, it will only be able to import this Disk Group in version 5.0 and higher.
A Disk Group created in SFW 4.3 will have a Disk Group version 43, it will only be able to import this Disk Group in version 4.3 and higher.
Resolution
There is no possibility to change an existing new Disk Group created in SFW 6.0 to a lower Disk Group version so compatibility with lower versions is allowed.
If a Disk Group is created in SFW 5.x it will be possible to use this same Disk Group in SFW 6.0 also.
