Error c0000015 = STATUS_NONEXISTENT_SECTOR
Cause
Issue is caused by disks in the UnknownDG group. When SFW tries to import or deport a disk group, it scans all disks available on the server to determine what disk belongs to what DG. When scanning all disks, SFW may discover that one disk, several disks, or possibly all disks may have had the sectors removed from the end of the disk. The disks appear to maintain the boot sector and partition information at the beginning of the disk, although they are missing the sector at the end of the disk. This is probably the result of resizing the LUN from the array and assigning to this node.
If SFW has issues identifying the private region during a import/deport, then it could take approximately 1 1/2 minutes for each disk that has sectors missing at the end of the disk. If there is more than one disk, then the DG import most likely will take more than 180 seconds, causing cluster resources to fail.
The cluster tries to bring the dynamic disk group online. If it takes over 3 minutes for the disk group to be imported, the VMDG resources in the cluster will fail.
NOTE: You may find that there are no missing disks in any of the DG's on the server, which would indicate that the disks in the UnknownDG do not belong to any disk groups on the server.
Resolution
1. Remove or detach UnknownDG disks from the server or remove partition information from each of the disks in UnknownDG group.
2. Perform a rescan within Storage Foundation. This will cause the UnknownDG group to disappear.
3. Bring the cluster group online, including the VMDG resource.

Windows 2003
Storage Foundation 5.X
MSCS 2003 Cluster
Issue/Introduction
May have two issues:
1. Unknown DG and NO missing disks in Disk Group
2. Slow DG import in MS cluster
Onlining multiple VMDG resources at once may lead to cluster timeout. In a MSCS cluster, the timeout period is 180 seconds (3 minutes). Cluster imports the DG when bringing the resources online.
Cluster will online all resources at the same time, however Storage Foundation will only import one Dynamic Disk Group at a time.
If the import of the Dynamic Disk Group takes longer than 180 seconds then the VMDG resources will eventually fail on the cluster, as the cluster times out due to the time taken to import the DG.
