VRTSllt fileset will not unload on AIX 6.1 as LLT driver is busy

After suggestions to ensure the stack above LLT had been closed down on the node, a manual attempt at unloading the LLT driver was attempted:
# strload -u -d /usr/lib/drivers/pse/llt
strload: cannot terminate /usr/lib/drivers/pse/llt: Device busy
Since that failed, the following checks were made:
# gabconfig -a
GAB Port Memberships
===============================================================
# lltstat -p
LLT port information:
Port Usage Cookie
However, neither of the outputs above indicated why LLT should be active.
Cause
The cause of why the LLT was deemed busy was not ascertained.
Resolution
In order to remove the VRTSllt fileset, the workaround was to move out the LLT driver from /usr/lib/drivers/pse/llt and reboot. After the reboot, the fileset could then be removed manually using AIX's installp.
