Operation system performance monitor tools (e.g. top on Linux) shows that VxFS uses a lot of CPU time.

The issue is identified as a defect in Veritas Storage Foundation 5.0 and 5.1 for HP-UX, Solaris, AIX and Linux platforms only.
The issue is addressed in the versions below:
