Error Message
Operation system performance monitor tools (e.g. top on Linux) shows that VxFS uses a lot of CPU time.
For example:

Cause
The issue is identified as a defect in Veritas Storage Foundation 5.0 and 5.1 for HP-UX, Solaris, AIX and Linux platforms only.
Resolution
The issue is addressed in the versions below:
Veritas Storage Foundation 5.1SP1 RP2 on HP-UX platform.
Veritas Storage Foundation 5.1SP1 RP2 P2 on Solaris platform.
Veritas Storage Foundation 5.1SP1 RP2 P3 on AIX platform.
Veritas Storage Foundation 5.1SP1 RP3 on Linux Platform.
Veritas Storage Foundation 6.0.1 on all platforms.
