V-16-15-167 "Failed to connect to the domain.\r\nError: %s"
Cause
This message is displayed when:
- You are logged in to the server directly, instead of into a domain.
- There is a problem communicating with the domain.
- The account being used by the Veritas Cluster Server Helper (hadhelper) service does not have adequate permissions.
Resolution
To correct the errors, do one of the following:
- If you are logged in to the server directly, log in to the domain and restart the wizard.
- Verify that you can reach the domain by running the Microsoft utility Dcdiag.exe.
- Run hadhelper/configure on all nodes to grant permissions to the hadhelper service.
