Attempt to import a diskgroup fails with error "V-76-58645-31: Dynamic disk group has a version not supported in this release."
Symptoms
Cause
The diskgroup version is newer than that supported by the currently installed version of Storage Foundations for Windows.
Answer/Resolution
Install a version of Storage Foundation which is the same or newer than the diskgroup version. There is no method to downgrade the diskgroup version. Check the diskgroup version in VEA by right-clicking on the diskgroup and selecting Properties. Note that 50 represents 5.0, 43 represents 4.3 etc.
