Cause

CPI install script in SF6.1 does not contain RHEL5U11 in supported list.

Resolution

Need to use below CPI hotfix:
cpi-Patch-6.1.1.800 : https://sort.veritas.com/patch/detail/12070

And the command should be like following:

# 6.1.1/installmr -require /root/CPI_6.1.1_P8.pl -base_path /root/6.1 -hotfix_path /root/6.1.1.100

Issue/Introduction

CPI install script in SF6.1 does not support latest kernel in RHEL5U11.  If the server has internet connection, CPI will get latest kernel support from SORT web site, and installation will be successfully done.  Without internet connection, installation will be failed.
